  1. Whitney Bressler, M.Ed., Owner, Tutor
    Whitney Bressler, M.Ed., Owner, Tutor
    Whitney graduated from the University of Missisippi (Ole Miss) in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Psychology. After working within the public school system for two years she decided to earn a teaching degree and in 2006 Whitney graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She then relocated to Tampa, Florida and began teaching at a Magnet School and later joined the staff at Westchase Elementary in Hillsborough County. In 2010, Whitney graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy. Whitney is married to Patrick, they have three daughters and reside in Tampa.

    Leslie Spence, M.Ed., Tutor
    Leslie graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She continued her studies at the University of South Florida graduating with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in 2001. Leslie taught kindergarten for seven years in the Pinellas County School System. After an absence of several years to start a family she returned to work in the Literacy Success Program in Pinellas County which helps low achieving readers in small group settings. For the last six years, Leslie has been teaching preschool at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Early Childhood Center. She has also been active as a homeroom mom and PTA Executive Board member at Westchase Elementary for the past ten years. Leslie is married to Bob, has three children, and lives in Tampa.

    Ashley Peterson, B.S., Tutor
    Ashley graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2010 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach all subjects Kindergarten through 6th grade. Ashley is also Reading and English Language Learner (ELL) endorsed, and is currently completing her Gifted Education Endorsement. After graduating from college, Ashley taught first and third grade in Orange County for five years before moving to Tampa to be closer to family. She currently teaches as a Gifted Resource Teacher at Schwarzkopf Elementary in Hillsborough County. Ashley is married to Devin and resides in Tampa.

    Jen Langsford, M.A., Tutor
    Jen graduated from Western Michigan University in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations & Journalism. In 2005, she earned her Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching (M.A.) specializing in Varying Exceptionalities (VE) from the University of South Florida. Jen has taught middle school students with Specific Learning Disabilities, then in 2011 she continued her career at Westchase Elementary. While at Westchase Elementary Jen has been primarily supporting Kindergarten - 3rd grade students with learning disabilities. Jen holds teaching certificates in K-6 Elementary Education and K-12 Exceptional Student Education. Jen resides in Westchase with her husband Rick and their two children.

    Allison Pate, B.A., Tutor
    Allison graduated from Mississippi State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She planned to continue her education to one day become a School Counselor but that all changed when she became a substitute teacher, while her husband was on a military assignment. After spending much time in the classroom, she fell in love teaching instead. Soon after, she earned her teaching certification and has never looked back. Now Allison feels lucky to call Westchase Elementary 'home'. So far, she has spent her career teaching 2nd and 3rd grade. Allison is certified K-6 in all subjects. She resides in Northdale, and is married to Jordan Pate.

    Natalie Coney, M.Ed., Tutor
    Natalie graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 2004. She continued her studies and graduated with her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education also from the University of Florida in 2005. Upon graduation, Natalie moved to Tampa and began teaching at Westchase Elementary. Natalie is certified in grades K-6 and has taught Kindergarten, first, and second grade. She also has experience teaching for the gifted program. Natalie has spent time both in and out of the classroom over the last ten years as she and her husband Josh have been blessed with four children. She is currently enjoying staying home with “number four” and is thrilled to join the Westchase tutoring team.

    Megan Moyer, B.S., Tutor
    Megan is a Tampa native who graduated from the University of South Florida in 2015 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach all elementary subjects, Kindergarten to 6th grade. Megan is also English Language Learner (ELL) endorsed. Since graduating from college she has taught Kindergarten for 4 years, for the School District of Hillsborough County. Megan is currently a Kindergarten teacher at Westchase Elementary School. She is working with the Dual Language Program which immerges students in Spanish language while also teaching them English. Megan loves working with children in her classroom and enjoys tutoring one-on-one as well. Megan currently resides in the Westchase area of Tampa.

    Amanda Benson, B.S., Tutor
    Amanda grew up in the Westchase community of Tampa. She attended the local public schools and upon graduation from high school, Amanda chose the University of South Florida to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach all subjects Kindergarten through 6th grade and is English Language Learner (ELL) endorsed. In her first year of teaching in Hillsborough County, Amanda became the recipient of the highly coveted Rita Dugan Memorial Award for Mathematics for the 2016-2017 school year! She currently teaches fifth grade at Dickenson Elementary School and resides in the Carrollwood area of Tampa.
